Jodie Sweetin
It was nice to see Full House star Jodie Sweetin on the cover of “People Magazine” last month with her 7 week old daughter Zoie.
She had a rough time a while back with drugs reported by the tabloids, but seems to have her act together now and looks really happy.

Star Jones
Star Jones is catching hell on the celebrity talk shows over her request to allow her divorce to be handled out of the public eye.
One show I was watching focused on her publicizing her marriage plans and courting the media then. They said she should expect the same with her divorce.

Recently Carmen Electra has announced her engagement to guitarist Rob Patterson of Korn. She was previously married to Dennis Rodman (whatever happened to him) and Dave Navarro.

Lauren Conrad
I’m such a mom. I watch The Hills pretty religiously; since I used to watch Laguna Beach with my kids. I’ve always liked Lauren; even when she was considered the bad girl on LB I was a mommy kind of happy when Stephen her old “boyfriend”? love interest? from Laguna Beach appeared on The Hills recently.
I hope she ends up with a nice guy like that. She’s had some real winners. I even had to tell my girls that I wish a nice boy like that for them.

Miley Cyrus
I thought Miley Cyrus’ parents had a better grip on her career than has become apparent this week. She has had a squeaky clean image until this photos were seen on the Internet. I personally didn’t find anything wrong with the one photo I saw, but I don’t have little kids looking up to her. She has had some rumors in the past that were put to rest quickly and if she were the usual child star I don’t think we’d be making such a big deal about it. She has issued a statement saying she’s sorry, so perhaps her fans parents will give her another chance.

Madonna Kiss of Youth
Watched Madonna’s new video on MSN with Justin Timberlake. She looks great for her age.
My daughter’s theory is that when she kissed Britney Spears, she sucked the youth out of Britney. She also thinks other young stars should beware of kissing Madonna.

Richard Chamberlain
All the youngsters out there don’t know this one, but Richard Chamberlain is celebrating a birthday on March 31th, born in 1935.
He was known for his TV role as Dr. Kildare from 1961-1966. He also appeared in several TV shows and as a guest on talk shows.
His most recent appearance was an episode of Desperate Housewives. He also starred in Shogun in 1980 and my favorite The Thornbirds with Rachel Ward and Barbara Stanwyck in 1983.

Happy Birthday Vince Vaughn
Happy Birthday to Vince Vaughn born March 28, 1970 in Minneapolis and was raised in the Chicago area.
I hadn’t heard of him until Starsky and Hutch (2004). I enjoyed his roles in The Wedding Crashers (2006), Dodgeball (2004), and The Break-up (2006) with Jennifer Anniston. Some trivia according to IMDB is that he doesn’t like cell phones or own one.

Hot Celebrities over 50
MSN had a feature on their entertainment page today about those stars who are “Fabulous & 50″ (they are still hot). I didn’t see a criteria, so I’m guessing they mean looks, not just careers.
I agree with most of those entertainers who they’ve chosen like Denzel Washington, Andie McDowell, Christy Brinkley, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Jackie Chan. A few I didn’t know who they were and then those I can’t agree with such as Alec Baldwin,Whoopi Goldberg, and Robin Williams. I love Robin Williams, but he does look his age.
Hopefully, when I get there which will be soon… I can fit into the first category

Zac Efron
I had never heard of Zac Efron until all the little girls my daughter coaches were having a fit about High School Musical. Now he’s officially signed to appear in High School Musical 3. I didn’t know he had done anything else, but according to IMDB he’s done several TV shows. (It seems mostly Disney related) I’d like to seem him in something not hookie and see if he can act.
That’s the bad thing about the Disney connection, they appear to run their talent in the ground.
