M.I.A. – Grammy Awards

I didn’t watch much of the Grammy Awards. I wasn’t into most of the music being performed as I flipped channels. During channel surfing a performer caught my eye and the remote froze for a brief moment. Long enough for me to think…”What the Hell?”. A women is on stage rapping in a large polka dot diaper/bikini type outfit. She was obviously pregnant. I sat there in awe of her outlandish costume until the music annoyed me enough to change the channel.

Today on Grammy sites her picture is posted and she’s M.I.A. or from that group. I guess she was trying to make a humorous statement with her costume. It was probably one of the best moments from the show this year.

Wow! Christina Applegate looked fabulous at the Golden Globe Awards.

I Â was not a fan of hers during the Married…With Children time, but she has since gained my admiration. I enjoy her role in her TV series Â Samantha Who?

She seems to be a good role model with the way she’s handled the difficulties in her personal life.

Michelle Obama

Like her or not, Michelle Obama is going to be a hot topic in many circles.

Michelle started right off getting a lot of the press in the Celebrity news about the dress she wore at their first official appearance after the election, which by the way was aÂ Narciso Rodriguez design.

Barack Obama has already achieved rock star like status, and you can expect Michelle Obama to be right up there getting a lot of attention in the press.

The worst dressed Oscar list was pretty much on the mark except I didn’t agree with Jessica Alba and Cameron Diaz.

Can these two really look bad in anything?

Top Red Carpet couples as far as both looking fashionably on the mark were: Dennis Hopper and wife Victoria Duffy, Forest Whitaker and wife Keisha, Jason Bateman and wife Amanda Anka, and lastly Patrick Dempsey with wife Jill Fink.

Grammy Award Dresses

MSN did their usual spread on Fashion mistakes at the Grammy Awards.

This time there were ten images of what they considered bad fashion choices. My pics from the images of exceedingly bad fashion ideas were Cher’s “?”, and Bai Ling. Who’s she? Wow, that was quite the “bad trip” dress. I thought Taylor Swift looked very nice in the purple strapless dress. Plus, Paula Abdul’s black long sleeve dress wasn’t bad except for the bow at the neck.

Jennifer Love Hewitt

I was surprised to see articles on the TV and Internet about Jennifer Love Hewitt.

It seems that the Paparazzi took pictures of her in a bikini while she was in Hawaii. I guess several people have made negative comments on the size of her hips. Hewitt is reported at a size 2. Most everyday people have never been a size 2 and never will be. It is only in Hollywood that women can be that size, so the media needs to leave it alone.

Emmy Fashion

It’s pretty bad when my husband can make a fashion statement. He even noticed the big difference between the VMA and the Emmy award fashions.

The Emmy fashions were full of glamor. Standouts were Katherine Heigl and Kate Walsh of “Grey’s Anatomy” and Ana Ortiz of “Ugly Betty”. There were several more pictured on the People site that looked great.

People magazine’s pictorial “Hollywood Secret Brainiacs” features twelve pictures of celebs in college and now. Most of them look better now, but Matthew Fox of “Lost” was a real cutie in college.
