Don Ho
Sad news for many tourist and for the state of Hawaii. Don Ho passed away this weekend.
I’ve seen him on many TV shows over the years, but the reason I think he was important is when my cousin got his week off from his tour in Vietnam, he went to Hawaii. He and his wife spent several days there and Don Ho performed at the hotel where they stayed. He’s in a picture with them and I’m sure many other people who served over there have that same memory.
Don Ho will be missed.
