Princess Diana
Aug. 31 will be the 11 year anniversary of the death of Princess Diana.
I think most people will remember where they were when they found out that she had died. I was up late with a new puppy and my two young daughters. I was so shocked and torn up by the news that I cried almost every time the news came on for the next few days. I was about the same age as she was and had always felt badly for what it appeared she went through in her relationships and with the journalist hounding her. To this day I can’t feel very good about the way things were handled by the Royal Family, but those who knew her loved her. And those of us who just saw her from afar I respected the dignity she portrayed through her difficulties.

I cried for the loss of Diana as well. She was a darling and my idol!
I was living in Muncie, Indiana at the time and had the TV on while cleaning house. When I heard the announcer break in with the news I went to see what had happened. Shocked and sad do not even begin to describe what I felt.
