My daughter’s theory is that when she kissed Britney Spears, she sucked the youth out of Britney. She also thinks other young stars should beware of kissing Madonna.

Janice Dickerson
Self proclaimed “super model” Janice Dickerson has been making a fool of herself lately on TV interviews.
First I saw the one where she was making snide remarks about Tyra Banks and most recently on “Access Hollywood” berating Britney spears and her family. I’m not a Britney fan, but the way Janice was handling her opinions of the situation were tackless.
She has never been an example of proper behavior and needs to keep her “Rosie O’Donnell” like comments to herself. Perhaps she’s seeking Rosie’s obnoxious public persona.

Dr. Phil/Britney Spears
I have heard reports that Britney Spears’ family is upset about Dr. Phil going to the media after he was called by the family to help/evaluate Britney during her hospital stay.
I saw a few of the interviews and he seemed vague about anything he did professionally for her, but I felt like he shouldn’t have said anything about his visit. I feel he pushed the envelope as a professional.

Britney and Jamie Lynn Spears
As a mom I feel so sorry for the Spears family. Whether it’s because of their parenting or just genetics and the environment, it still has to be a rough go as a parent.
Britney pulling all her stunts these last couple of years and now Jamie Lynn announcing that she is expecting. Also, there are conflicting reports on whether Jamie Lynn and the daddy plan to marry. The article I read also said there is a third child in the Spears family, didn’t know that, but I’m not into all the Britney news; overload.

It just seems like the 2007 VMA’s was one big joke.
Let’s see… Kid Rock/Tommy Lee, Britney, Kayne… I did see one young performer Chris Brown who danced well. But mostly the back-up dancers carried the performances and did better than the stars…. BORING!

Don’t know if it’s true, but Britney is linked with her bodyguard Damon.
This may be a little harder to prove since she’s going to be with him anyhow. Most of the pictures that I’ve seen published just look like he’s doing his job. One picture posted was terrible of Britney. It shows her looking “out of it” and it appears she’s dropping her son and he’s catching him.

A local tv station tried to get information on Britney Spears from residents of her hometown of Kentwood, LA.
I was pleased to see that people either declined the interviews or only spoke in positive terms. Most said that she had done lots for their town.
It was a nice change that the residents didn’t bash her for a minute of air time.

Britney Spears won’t Be Doing 2008 VMA
Last year Britney Spears tried making a career comeback at the VMA’s with her "Gimme More" song…it didn’t happen. Instead many commented on her lack of memory for her song, the outfit she wore and how nervous she looked. After this appearance her entire life went downhill. During the summer it was once again rumored that she would be making an appearance at the 2008 VMA, her manager has come forward to say that WON’T be happening.
