Born Sept. 9, 1966 Adam Sandler is a well known comedian. He has done several movies as well as his appearances on Saturday Night Live. My favorite movie of his was “The Water Boy” and my husband’s is “Spanglish”. My kids and I love to hear “The Chanukah Song”.

Steve Martin

Happy Birthday to Steve Martin noted funny man born on Aug. 14, 1945 in Waco, TX. I didn’t realize he was a fellow Texan. For my generation he is best know for his Saturday Night Live skits, “King Tut” song, and “The Jerk”.
Most recently younger audiences know him for “Cheaper By the Dozen”.

NBC just announced that Olympic gold medal swimmer Michael Phelps will be hosting Saturday Night Live’s 34th season on September 13. Musical guest for the SNL season premiere will be Lil Wayne. Following the September 13 SNL, three more live shows in a row will follow. Additionally, SNL’s Weekend Update Thursday storms primetime with three live half-hour shows beginning October 9 at 9:30 p.m. ET.

SNL reveal newest star Bobby Moynihan


The newest cast member of Saturday Night Live has been revealed and it’s no big surprise to most that he’s a bit of an unknown. You've probably seen the ESPN radio commercial (see below) where a fan comes up to Michael Kay and says how much he loves him. The guy wants to do a special handshake, the brobot, with Kay and eventually asks Kay for the PIN to his ATM account. "That guy" is Bobby Moynihan and he is the newest cast member of Saturday Night Live, according to TV Squad.
