Carrie Underwood
“US Weekly” had a small blimp on Carrie Underwood and her current guy. His name is Chase Crawford, he’s a real cutie. I’m glad to see she’s moved on after the deal with Dallas Cowboy’s quarterback Tony Romo. He was said to have called off the relationship so he could [...]
Week 13 Wrap-up: Do we have to watch the Lions?
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! If you were wishing that the football games would give you reason to ignore your family members and sit on the couch all afternoon, you were probably a bit disappointed with what transpired this past Thursday. In my opinion, this had to be one of the worst weekends of football in a long time, as eight of the fifteen games were near-blowouts, seven were missing a 30 point effort from either of the contestants, and three games featured teams whose leading r
Winners and losers: The amazing race (Yahoo! Sports)
Tony Romo seems well-positioned to move ahead in what is a wide-open pursuit for league MVP honors.

Shia LaBeouf Loves The Lakers
Shia LaBeouf has a good time at the LA Lakers game, as they defeated the Toronto Raptors, 112-99 at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles on Sunday. The 22-year-old actor recently made ET’s Top 10 Hunks of 2008. Shia came in at number five, after Robert Pattinson, Zac Efron, Tony Romo, and Reggie Bush. Shia can be seen next in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, alongside Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel, and is set to hit theaters in June 2009.
Shock! Jessica Simpson is a dumbass
Shock! Jessica Simpson is a dumbass December 1st, 2008 Jessica shortly after being asked by the paparazzi to flash a peace sign Meant to get to this last week but Thanksgiving got in the way. Thanks a lot Pilgrims. Assholes. From Star: It was another Chicken of the Sea moment for Jessica Simpson when she went shopping recently at a Beverly Hills Niketown. “Jessica asked the sales associate helping her where the Adidas sweat pants were,” a witness says. Probably at the Adidas store! “The
The Cold Hard Truth-MMQ (I AM A ROMOSEXUAL! OPENLY!)
The only mention of the Detroit Lions this week is they will finish 0-16. They are the worst TEAM in sports history. Now, let’s get to the good stuff…. TEN THINGS I THINK 1. Tony Romo is officially 100% healthy and there isn’t a quarterback in the NFL playing better then him right now. He will lead the Cowboys to the playoffs, he will beat the Giants in the playoffs and he will win the Super Bowl. If you haven’t come out of the closet yet, I suggest you do. Being a Romosexual is no longer a b

Dallas Cowboys still on the outside looking in
The Cowboys didn’t get any help today in their quest to slide into one of the two NFC wildcard spots. Currently the NFC South is foiling the Cowboys’ hopes as Carolina (9-3), Tampa Bay (9-3) and Atlanta(8-4) are all ahead of Dallas in the conference. Dallas and Atlanta have the same record, but Atlanta holds the tie-breaker due to a better conference winning percentage. Green Bay, New Orleans and San Diego all had a chance to win their games in the last minute but fell on their faces in the e
Cowboys Must Shake Ghosts of Decembers Past
The man who wrote Peter Pan, James Matthew Barrie, once said, "God gave us memory so that we might have roses in December." With the Thanksgiving thrashing of Seattle, the Cowboys now sit alone in second place in the NFC East with an 8-4 record. After being written off by many, including this writer, it now seems Dallas still has very legitimate postseason hopes. However, you shouldn't mention that when you see them because this group has an uncanny ability to take any compliment
De la hoya fight
Totally Random Where do old Georgia Bulldogs go when they die? Some will go to “Bulldog Haven,” a cemetery plot near Georgia’s football stadium devoted exclusively to Georgia football lettermen and their families. The plot will include a wall that looks like stadium steps, a small-scale version of a football field, a small chapel bell and the trademark hedges that line the field inside the big stadium across the street. So far, more than 100 spots have been sold to former Georgia players an
Gameday Preview: 49ers @ Bills
Here is the preview from Sporting News, and all I have to say is I disagree with their predicted outcome. This is a very winnable game for the 49ers. As long as they get Gore going they should win. Nothing like a little mediocrity to snap the Buffalo Bills out of a month-long funk. After routing the hapless Chiefs in Kansas City last week, the Bills return home hoping for a second straight victory when they host the woeful San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. The Bills have feasted (excuse the T
Tony Romo declares he’s “really into ginger ale”
DALLAS, TX — Ever-quirky Dallas QB Tony Romo called a special team meeting Saturday to declare he’s “really into ginger ale.” “Tony asked me to gather everyone on the team for a special meeting,” said WR Terrell Owens. “So I figured it was something really important, you know, to bring us in on a Saturday when [...]
Heartbreaking Pack: 2008 Football Upper Deck Masterpieces Part 3
Pack #3 of the Blaster: I am very conflicted about my feelings with Tony Romo...As a fan of America's Team [The Packers] I always root for whoever is playing the Cowboys...On the other hand, Tony is a Wisconsinite, as I am, so I am proud of his success...Romo is also my star fantasy quarterback and so if he doesn't score two touchdowns I curse his name... A double...this really shouldn't happen over 24 cards... Will we see some Booty on the field is season? A card reminding us the Lions w
Weekly T.O. throw-by-throw: The old man can still beat a jam!
T.O. calmly explained to reporters this week that it's a heck of a lot harder to get off a jam when the cornerback knows he has safety help. To illustrate his point, he mentioned that your favorite blogger could probably hold him up at the line of scrimmage if that was my sole purpose on a play, leading me to ask for a contract. And he expressed confidence that cornerbacks would pay if they tried to jam him in one-on-one situations. The Seahawks gave T.O. a chance to prove his point. They repe
49ers vs. Bills ~ Week 13
49ers vs. Bills ~ Week 13 San Francisco 49ers (3-8) vs. Buffalo Bills (6-5) Ralph Wilson Stadium 10:00 A.M. (PST) The 49ers travel cross country to face the Bills in what is expected to be a chilly matchup with the game time temperature predicated to be 35 degrees with a chance of snow. The 49ers struggle anytime they have to play on the East Coast and with the weather possibly being a factor the 49ers have tough task to pull out a win. The Bills were on a downslide of their own before be
